Syracuse blanks IronPigs in series finale

SYRACUSE, N.Y. - Syracuse shut out Lehigh Valley, 5-0, on Friday night to take three of four from the IronPigs in the series.

The Chiefs' Caleb Clay tossed seven shutout innings, striking out five. The Pigs managed just six hits all night.

Lehigh Valley will be in Scranton/Wilkes-Barre for the weekend. Derek Jeter will start for the RailRiders on Saturday night.
