Tarik Davis arrested on drug charges in Bethlehem

Police with search warrant raided his Rodgers Street apartment

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - A 23-year-old Bethlehem resident was arrested Monday afternoon on drug charges.

Police found heroin, marijuana, money and a loaded shotgun in his apartment.

Tarik Jahad Davis was charged with possession with the intent to deliver heroin, possession with the intent to deliver marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. After being arraigned, he was committed to Northampton County Prison. Bail was set at $85,000.

At 5 p.m. Monday, a search warrant was served on Davis' apartment at 2263 Rodgers St. in Bethlehem by members of the city's Police Vice and Street Crimes units as well as the Northampton County Drug Task Force.

Seized inside of the apartment were:

 * One pump-action, pistol-grip, 12-gauge shotgun loaded with slug ammunition;

* About 300 bags of heroin, with a street value of $3,000;

 * 13 bags of marijuana of various weights;

 * Packaging materials;

 * About $700 cash.
