Teen charged in Allentown pizza delivery robbery

ALLENTOWN, Pa. - An 18-year-old is facing charges for allegedly robbing a Domino's pizza delivery driver and stealing her car.

Allentown police said Harold Lassend, of Allentown, is facing theft and robbery charges.

Authorities said the robbery occurred in the 700 block of North Fountain Street about 12:45 a.m. Friday.

The victim told police a woman and then two men approached her as she was getting out of her car to make a delivery, and one of the men hit her in the back of a head with a gun.

The robbers stole her bronze 2014 Hyundai Accent, cash and her cell phone.

An officer saw a car matching that description Saturday in the 900 block of Oak Street and found Lassend inside.

Allentown police are investigating reports into the other actors involved.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Allentown police detectives at 610-437-7721. Witnesses can also submit anonymous tips online through Tip411.
