Trailers catch fire at Lafarge Cement in Whitehall

WHITEHALL TWP., Pa. - Firefighters spent Monday morning fighting a fire at the Lafarge Cement Plant in Whitehall Township.

Flames and smoke poured from several trailers at the plant.

Firefighters struggled to get the blaze under control since the closest hydrant was more than 1500 feet away.

They had to call in water tankers and use foam.

No injuries were reported and there's no word yet on what caused the fire.
