Tyler Graumenz sentenced on child porn charges

ALLENTOWN, Pa. - A former Pennsylvania State Police dispatcher, who pleaded guilty to possession of child pornography, has learned his fate.

Tyler Graumenz, 24, of Whitehall Township, Lehigh County, has been sentenced to five years probation.

Officials say a search of Graumenz's home computer turned up a file full of child pornography. Investigators say he was sharing the images online.

The Lehigh County District Attorney's office says Graumenz worked as a civilian dispatcher at the Lehighton State Police barracks from March through August of 2013.

In December, he pleaded guilty to possession of child pornography. In exchange for the plea, charges of criminal use of a communication facility and selling obscene sexual materials were withdrawn.
