U.S. Rep. Schwartz files campaign-finance report

HARRISBURG, Pa. - U.S. Rep. Allyson Schwartz says she has more than $5 million on hand heading into the final six weeks of Pennsylvania's Democratic campaign for governor.
Schwartz filed her campaign-finance report Tuesday morning.
It shows that she received $1.6 million in campaign contributions between January and March _ pushing her total fundraising so far to about $8 million.
Schwartz's biggest contributors included Emily's List, a national group that works to elect women who support abortion rights, which gave her $355,000. She also received $50,000 from the Local 98 of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers in Philadelphia.
Reports are also due Tuesday from the other Democratic candidates _ Tom Wolf, Rob McCord and Katie McGinty _ as well as Republican Gov. Tom Corbett.
