Victaulic to build new facility in Lower Nazareth Township

FORKS TWP., Pa. - A local leading manufacturer of mechanical pipe joining solutions got the go to build in the Lehigh Valley.

Victaulic received approval of its final land development application from the Lower Nazareth Township Board of Supervisors Wednesday. The company plans to build a 400,000 square foot manufacturing center with construction to begin later this year.

“This new facility will play an important role in meeting increased customer demand, while also
producing the highest quality products in the industry -- something our customers have come to expect from us since our first innovation nearly 100 years ago,” said CEO of Victaulic John F. Malloy in a news release.

The company says its new facility in Lower Nazareth Township will include several millions of dollars in new equipment, robotic and optical technology and computerized, visual inspection systems. This is in addition to its current light assembly operation, which has been conducted for 20 years in partnership with Cast-Pac Inc.

Victaulic hopes to add close to 50 new jobs by the end of the year.
