Victim assaulted, robbed in Allentown home invasion, police say

ALLENTOWN, Pa. - Police said a man was assaulted and robbed early Thursday after three men broke into his Allentown home.

The incident took place around 4 a.m. at a home in the 800 block of West Washington Street.

The victim told police that three black males entered the home, and assaulted him, causing minor injuries.

The robbers also took a phone, wallet and cigarettes before fleeing the home, police said.

Police are trying to determine the robbers' identities. The victim told police he didn't know the men.

Allentown detectives are investigating.
