Volunteer firefighter slapped with additional arson charges

LEHIGH TWP., Pa. - A volunteer firefighter, who was charged with starting several fires in the area, is now facing even more charges.

Cory Praschyk, of Bethlehem, was charged in April with starting multiple fires in Lehigh County.

Now, police have charged him with setting two fires in Lehigh Twp., Northampton Co., in 2010.

During questioning, police said Praschyk admitted to starting those fires with a lighter.

Praschyk was a volunteer firefighter with several fire companies in the Lehigh Valley, officials said.
