Waterfront project moving forward in Allentown

ALLENTOWN, Pa. - Developers are moving right along with plans to revitalize Allentown's waterfront.

On Tuesday, the Waterfront Development Company relaunched its web site with new features, updated timelines and the most recent renderings of the 26-acre mixed-use development project.

According to developers, construction of Phase I will begin in the third week of July. It will take approximately two months to complete.

Cameras will be installed so viewers can track the progress of the first phase of the project.

The Waterfront project will include office buildings, an apartment complex, retail shops and a parking garage.
