Whitehall police say fight leaves 4 stabbed or slashed

Authorities continue to investigate the incident

WHITEHALL TWP., Pa. - Authorities in Lehigh County are investigating reports of a fight that left four people with slash or stab wounds.

The Whitehall Township Police Department was dispatched about 6 p.m. Monday to the rear of 22 Alta Dr. for reports of a fight in progress.

When officers arrived, they found four people suffering from various degrees of slash or stab wounds.

Officers provided emergency medical care to help control the bleeding. Police said Tuesday that two of the injured people were taken to area hospitals where their injuries are listed as non life threatening.

Whitehall police said the investigation is "active and ongoing," and that investigators are trying to piece together the circumstances surrounding the fight. Anyone with information about the fight or who may have witnessed the incident is asked to contact the department's criminal investigation unit at 610-437-3042.
