WILSON, Pa. - Police are searching for two people who robbed a convenience store in Northampton County at gunpoint Friday morning.

The holdup happened around 3 a.m. at the Penn Jersey store in the 2100 block of Northampton Street in Wilson. 

One man walked over to the clerk and pointed a gun at him and then demanded money from the register, according to police. Another man was behind the counter taking cigarettes. After the robbers got the money, the one with the gun told the clerk to lie down, and the pair left the store. Police said the two ran west toward 22nd Street.

They got away with an undetermined amount of cash, cigarettes and lighters. 

The robbers are described as black men who stand about six feet tall and were wearing ski masks. The armed man had a silver handgun and was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt.
