Woman charged after stabbing boyfriend in the arm four times

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - A 31-year-old woman is charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, and recklessly endangering another person after she allegedly stabbed a man four times in the upper right arm. 

Desiree Keller was committed to prison on a state parole violation and is presently incarcerated at State Correction Institution, Cambridge Springs in Pennsylvania. 

Bethlehem police arrived at a Dellwood Street home around 7 a.m. Sept. 10  to find a victim suffering from a stab wound to the arm.

When officers were dispatched to the area, they found Keller lying on the ground in the 800 block of Dellwood complaining of stomach and uterus pain. She alleged that her boyfriend, the victim, had kicked her in the stomach and pointed a gun at her inside their home in the 700 block of Dellwood Street, according to court records.

The woman allegedly admitted stabbing her boyfriend. She was taken to the hospital for treatment.

The victim was also taken to the hospital for his large stab wound. 

Keller was arraigned via video Friday by Northampton County District Judge Roy Manwaring, when charges were filed.

Bail was set ta $25,000 for the new charges. 

Since Keller is being held in Cambridge Springs, she will be transported to Northampton County to face charges when needed for court.
