Work-release facility for inmates copes with no running water
SALISBURY TOWNSHIP., Pa. - A work-release facility for inmates in Lehigh County has no running water and could be without it for awhile.
The director for the Lehigh County work-release program tells 69 News there was a water main break at the facility on Riverside Drive in Salisbury Township.
We're told a plumber was out Tuesday morning assessing the damage.
In the meantime, nearly 150 inmates are using portable bathrooms.
No word on when the water will be turned back on.
