Young Lehigh Valley girl donates fifth birthday to help local children in need

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - A young girl in the Lehigh Valley donated her birthday to help a special cause.

Carly Kudryk, a preschool student at the Swain School, asked people to donate to charity instead of giving her presents.

People who attended her fifth birthday party at Revolutions in Bethlehem gave money that will go to Jewish Family Service of the Lehigh Valley to purchase backpacks and school supplies for children in need.
