Local rider wins title at U.S. Junior National Championships

Velodrome hosting U.S. Junior National Championships

This is a very big weekend at the Valley Preferred Cycling Center.

The U.S. Junior National Championships have returned to the Velodrome.

National champions are being crowned for teenage riders.

On Friday night, Schnecksville's James Mellen won a national title in the Men's 17-18 sprint final.

The event kicked off on Thursday and will run through Sunday.
