Man accused of killing his wife, her boyfriend, heads to trial

DOYLESTOWN, Pa. - A man accused of killing his wife and her boyfriend waived his preliminary hearing Wednesday.

Lloyd Hill is in prison awaiting trial on charges he killed his estranged wife, Stephanie Hill, 36, and her boyfriend, Frederick Tarantino, 43, on Jan. 27 in Nockamixon Twp., Bucks Co.

According to an affidavit of probable cause, a week before the deaths, Lloyd Hill, 42, sent a text message to Stefanie Hill, saying he was going to kill her and Tarantino.

Lloyd Hill was found hours after the attacks. He faces two counts of first degree murder; one count of burglary with intent to commit a murder and two counts of possession of instruments of crime.

Stephanie Hill was still married to the accused, Lloyd Hill, though she lived with the other victim, Frederick Tarantino, said officials, who added that Tarantino's ex-wife was living with Lloyd Hill. The four met at church, they said.

Hill's formal arraignment is set for March 30.
