NESQUEHONING, Pa. - An Allentown man who was arrested in North Carolina in connection with a homicide investigation in Carbon County is back in Pennsylvania.

Officials say Anthony Heath, 24, has been extradited. He's being held in Carbon County prison on $1 million bail.

Heath was arrested Sunday in Kinston, North Carolina, and police say he was driving Angela Steigerwalt's car.

Her charred remains were found Saturday in a wooded area in Jim Thorpe, Carbon County.

Police say Heath used Steigerwalt's credit card to purchase lighter fluid and a lighter at a Walmart in Lehigh County on the day her body was found.

Right now, Heath is charged with theft of a motor vehicle.

His preliminary hearing is scheduled for February 19th.
