Man faces charges for having sex with 13-year-old girl

Nathaniel Campbell, 20, also videotaped the girl, police say

TOBYHANNA TWP., Pa. - A Monroe County man is facing charges after police said he had sex with a 13-year-old girl.

Twenty-year-old Nathaniel Isaiah Campbell of the 8900 block of Deerfield Drive in Tobyhanna Township was charged on Tuesday.

The girl told officers on July 15 she was involved in a sexual relationaship with Campbell.

According to a police affidavit:

The victim said she first met with Campbell in the early morning of July 5 when she sneaked out of her house without her parents' knowledge and he picked her up in his vehicle.

They drove to an area where they had intercourse, then he drove her home.

Campbell had sent the girl lewd photos of himself and asked her to send him nude photos of her, which she did.

She met him again on July 11, when she again left home without her parents' knowledge, and again Campbell picked her up.

They drove to a location in A Pocono Country Place subdivision, where Campbell took a video with his cell phone of the girl performing a sex act, then he took her home.

On July 22, police interviewed Campbell,during which time Campbell admitted to having intercourse with the girl, sending nude photos of himself to her, and taking a video of her.

Campbell was arraigned Wednesday on charges of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, statutory sexual assault, aggravated indecent assault, unlawful contact with a minor, indecent assault,  and related charges.

He's being held at the Monroe County Prison on $10,000 bail.
