Man suffers leg wound in reported Allentown shooting

ALLENTOWN, Pa. - Allentown police are investigating a reported shooting.

It happened just around 11:45 p.m. Thursday on 5th Street, between Chew and Turner streets.

Joshua George-Wilson told police he was walking in the area of 5th and Chew streets when he was shot.

The only description he could provide police of the shooter was that he was a man dressed in dark clothing.

George-Wilson, 19, was taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital in Salisbury Township for treatment.

There's no word on his condition.
