Man wounded in neck during fight at Montgomery Elks Lodge in Pottstown

POTTSTOWN, Pa. - A man was seriously wounded during a fight at a club in Montgomery County late Monday night, police said.

It happened around 11:15 p.m. at the Montgomery Elks Lodge, 609 Walnut St., in Pottstown.

There was some type of altercation inside the club, and a man in his late 30s was wounded in the neck, said police, who initially reported that the victim was stabbed.

The victim was taken to the trauma center at Reading Hospital for treatment. Officials had no information about his condition.

So far, police have no suspects.
