READING, Pa. - Police are investigating the shooting of a Reading man who claims the gunfire erupted during a home invasion Tuesday night.

Officers were called around 9 p.m. to the 1000 block of Elm Street.

The victim told police he was shot during a struggle with three masked men who forced their way inside his home.

The victim, whose name is not being released, was taken to a hospital for treatment of a gunshot wound to his left leg.

No arrests have been made. Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call Crime Alert Berks County at 877-373-9913.
