Montgomery County Commissioner Censured

The chairman of the Montgomery County Commissioners is being reprimanded by fellow Republicans. Dozens of members of the GOP Executive Committee have unanimously voted to censure James Matthews. They say the move is to let voters know that they are not getting the kind of government they voted for. They accuse Matthews of siding with Democrats one too many times. Matthews says he is being punished for reaching across the aisle 11 months ago. He says anyone familiar with his 35-year record would question the move.
