More evidence found in Montgomery County ricin investigation

HATBORO, Pa. - Police in Montgomery County say they have located more evidence near the Hatboro home of a man arrested in a ricin-related incident.

Investigators on the scene say the evidence was recovered late Thursday afternoon in a gas valve about  a block away from the Byberry Road home of 19 year-old Nicholas Todd Helman.

Officials would not specify what evidence they recovered. They denied earlier reports that ricin was dumped into a storm drain near the scene.

Helman is facing charges after police say he sent a romantic rival a birthday card, laced with poison.  Investigators say he sent his ex-girlfriend's current boyfriend a card laced with ricin.

Officials say Helman told a co-worker about the card.. who then called police.
