Motorcyclist hurt on curve

WALKER TWP., Pa. - A motorcyclist was flown to the hospital after a crash in Schuylkill County on Sunday.

The accident happened around 6:30 p.m. on Valley Road, near Mountain Road, in Walker Township.

Mark Goff, 39, of Jim Thorpe, Carbon County, was traveling west on Valley Road at a high rate of speed when he lost control of the bike while going around a curve, police said.

His motorcycle went off the right lane onto the right shoulder and hit an embankment. The bike flipped several times before landing in the middle of the road, said police, who had no information about the victim's condition.
