N.Y. murder suspect, 3 others arrested in western New Jersey

POHATCONG TWP., Pa. - It all started with fake $100 bills.

Police in Warren County, New Jersey, nabbed a woman Sunday who's wanted for murder in New York as well as three others on other charges.

On Sunday, police were called to Sears at the Phillipsburg Mall in Lopatcong Twp., for a report of a woman passing counterfeit $100 bills.

A description of the woman and the vehicle she was riding in was given to police.

Pohatcong Twp. police located the vehicle traveling east on Route 22, and pulled the car over at Super Walmart.

An investigation showed that the fake bills were passed at Sears and Chick-Fil-A in Pohatcong Twp.

An adult female was charged with forgery, uttering, theft of moveable property, theft by deception, obstructing justice, hindering apprehension, possession of under 50 grams of marijuana and being under the influence of C.D.S. (controlled dangerous substance) in Pohatcong Twp. Her bail was set at $25,000.00.

There was also a New York arrest warrant issued on her for homicide. Although she was an adult at the time of the arrest, she was a juvenile at the time the warrant was issued so officials did not release her name. She was taken to the Warren County Correctional Center.

Others in the vehicle were also arrested:

Nolan R. Lopez, 23, of Jackson Heights, N.Y., was charged with conspiracy, obstructing justice, hindering apprehension and being under the influence of C.D.S.   in Pohatcong Twp.. Bail was set at $25,000.00. He was also charged with conspiracy in Lopatcong Township. His bail was set at $25,000.00 on the charge in Lopatcong. Lopez was taken to the Warren County Correctional Center in lieu of bail.

Sandy Bohorquez, 20, of East Elmhurst, N.Y., was charged with forgery, uttering, and theft by deception in Lopatcong Twp. Bail was set at $40,000.00. She was also charged with being under the influence of C.D.S. in Pohatcong Twp. Bohorquez was taken the Warren County Correctional Center in lieu of bail.

Diego Ocampo, 23, also of East Elmhurst, N.Y., was charged with obstructing justice, hindering apprehension and being under the influence of C.D.S in Pohatcong Twp. He was released pending a court date.
