Correctional center death ruled homicide

CLINTON TWP., N.J. - The Hunterdon County, New Jersey prosecutor says an assault on an inmate is now a homicide investigation.

Officials say Joshua Jones, 23, died last week after being assaulted at the Mountainview Youth Correctional Facility in Clinton Twp.

Jones was flown via Medivac from the facility August 14 after he was assaulted inside his dorm.

Officials say the investigation into Jones' death is an active one.
