Anti-saggy pants bill passes in Wildwood

WILDWOOD, N.J. - There's a new dress code for one Jersey Shore boardwalk.

The city of Wildwood has passed an ordinance that bans saggy or baggy pants and shorts on the beach's boardwalk.

The measure was proposed by Mayor Ernie Troiano last month to promote the city as more clean cut beach town.

First time violators will first be asked to simply pull up their pants or leave the boardwalk.

Anytime after that -- a fine could be issued between $25 and $300.

Police will start enforcing the law on July 2nd.
