The presidential campaign trail hasn't wound its way through Pennsylvania as much this election year as it did in 2008. Pennsylvania just isn't the battleground state it was then.

The trail, however, will bring Jill Biden, wife of the vice president, to Pennsylvania next week.

Biden will attend events on behalf of the Obama-Biden campaign in Harrisburg, Scranton, Hazleton and Allentown on Monday and in Reading, Lancaster and Philadelphia on Tuesday, the campaign announced Thursday.

Details of her stops have not yet been released.

Biden's visit to Pennsylvania will come just days before her husband, Joe Biden, and Republican candidate for vice president, Paul Ryan, meet in their one-and-only debate on Thursday.

Jill Biden was last in our area in April when she visited the campus of Reading Area Community College as part of her Community College to Career tour.
