The two candidates for the heated 133rd District House seat will appear in a taped debate next Monday night, Oct. 15, on WFMZ's "Business Matters."

We originally reported that the debate would air tonight (Oct. 8), however, tonight's episode will be about the Gracedale nursing home in Northampton County, titled "Gracedale, One Year Later - Feeling the Effects."

As for the debate next Monday, Republican David Molony, 59, of Catasauqua, Lehigh Co., and Democrat Daniel McNeill, 65, of Whitehall Twp., Lehigh Co., will face off in the WFMZ studios.

The 133rd District seat was formerly held by Joe Brennan, 48, of Fountain Hill. He dropped out of the race when he was charged with assaulting his wife and drunk driving in August.

McNeill was picked to replace Brennan.

The program will air at 7:30 p.m. next Monday on Channel 69. Tony Ianelli, president of the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce, will serve as moderator.

The 133rd District includes parts of Allentown, Bethlehem, eastern Salisbury, Hanover and Whitehall townships and Coplay and Fountain Hill boroughs.

Business Matters is a production of the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce.
