Lawmakers in Harrisburg are hearing arguments about privatizing Pennsylvania's liquor stores.
State House members are considering amendments to a Republican privatization bill.
It appears the GOP-controlled House may approve the bill as early as Thursday.
The bill would give beer distributors the first crack at 1,200 wine and spirit licenses.
It would also phase out state liquor stores.
Meantime a Democratic bill to keep most of the state store system in place has failed.
As you may know, GOP Governor Tom Corbett is in favor of privatization to help fund public education.
