Accident slows traffic on Route 422 West near Stowe exit

An accident has closed a westbound lane of Route 422 near the border between Berks and Montgomery counties.
The accident happened shortly after 1 p.m. in Douglass Twp., Berks Co. A car hit the back of a PennDOT truck, said police, adding that no one was injured.
Westbound motorists experienced a significant delay in getting by the scene while one lane was closed for crews to remove the damaged vehicles.
