Accomplice to doctor known as the "Candy Man" charged
Charges have now been filed against the alleged accomplice of the Reading doctor known as the "Candy Man."
The state Attorney General's office says Rameeza Chowdhury is facing a list of charges including conspiracy.
Officials say she worked for Doctor Mohammed Abdul Rahman Khan at Berks Psychiatry in Reading.
Khan was arrested back in October after officials said he wrote thousands of bogus prescriptions.
Authorities say Chowdhury worked as the office administrator and falsified patient files to justify the prescriptions.
She's also accused of attempting to coach a witness who officials say was actually an informant.
