Animal Rescue

READING, Pa. -

The Animal Rescue League of Berks County is asking for your help.

The league is taking care of all the animals taken from a Reading home on Friday night.

They include 20 cats, six rats, five hampsters and four dogs.

The animals all need extensive veterinary care, and the ARL is hoping you can help by donating to its Noel fund, which helps provide emergency care to all the animals.

"I'm making a plea to the public. Please donate to the Noel Fund. If everybody in the county would give five dollars, we could help so many more dogs medically," said volunteer Vicky Hoffman.
