Residents in Muhlenberg Twp., Berks Co. are relieved that two suspected serial thieves have been nabbed.
Thursday night some of the victims even got their stolen items back.
The Muhlenberg Police Department put the stolen items on display for the victims to pick up.
Police said the suspects, Jessica Simmons and Bradley Perez, were caught red-handed with a large amount of stolen property in their backpacks.
Officials said the suspects targeted cars in the Riverview Park area, swiping GPS units, cell phones and jewelry.
"I feel good that [I got] my things back. I certainly hope they're punished. I hope it doesn't happen again," said Melissa Najarian.
"It's actually helping us to get these people to come in here to take this stuff off our hands. It's less for us to log into the computer system and store. So it's great to get everybody their stuff back," said Lt. Joe Schlappich of the Muhlenberg Police Department.
Other victims who haven't picked up their belongings are urged to contact police at (610) 929-5454.
