Berks well-represented at annual Pa. Farm Show

HARRISBURG, Pa. -

The annual Pennsylvania Farm Show is drawing farmers and fans from Berks County and beyond.

69 News on Tuesday caught up with a family from Centre Township preparing to show dairy heifers later in the week.

Before the exhibition, the family is trying to teach visitors what it takes to raise and care for the cows.

"They can ask questions. They can pet 'em. Milking times, they can go over and watch them milk the cow. It's a learning experience for everyone," said Melanie Younker, Centre Township.

The Farm Show will continue through Jan. 12.
