A man died when his car crashed in Lower Alsace Twp., Berks Co., on Sunday, officials said.

Brent Gilson lost control of his car around a curve in the 2600 block of Hill Road and struck a tree around 3:30 a.m. Sunday, according to the Berks County coroner.

Gilson, 36, of Maidencreek Township, died at the scene, the coroner said.

No other vehicles were involved in the accident.
