HEIDELBERG TWP., Pa. -

Teachers in the Conrad Weiser School District finally have a new contract.

The school board approved the agreement Wednesday night; teachers approved it Monday.

They've been working on a deal for two-and-a-half years.

Under the agreement, teachers saw a one-year salary and health insurance freeze for the previous school year.

The remainder of the contract includes salary increases of just under one percent per year and increased health care contributions.
