Corporate employee sentenced for embezzlement

A woman from the Blandon area who admitted to embezzling nearly $1.8 million from a battery company has learned her fate.
Sheila Jameson, 55, was sentenced Thursday to four years in prison for embezzlement and tax fraud.
Authorities say Jameson was working at EnerSys in Bern Township when she set up a shell corporation.
They say she sent bogus invoices to the company and received payments.
She pleaded guilty back in September.
