Law enforcers and lawmakers came together in Berks County on Thursday.
Crime Alert invited federal, state and county officials to lunch at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Wyomissing. Officials shared some success stories from over the years.
The group offers cash rewards to anonymous tipsters who provide information to police.
Crime Alert officials said they like to keep lawmakers up to date on their efforts.
"When you're number one in the state for the last six years, I think it's nice to let those people know," said Barry Rohrbach, president, Crime Alert Berks County.
This month, Crime Alert is entering its 16th year of helping catch crooks in Berks County.
