Daniel Miller sentenced for shaking daughter enough to cause brain damage
A Reading man accused of shaking his six-month-old daughter hard enough to cause brain damage is heading to jail.
Daniel Miller was sentenced to 26 months to 10 years in prison.
He was found guilty last month of simple assault and endangering the welfare of children.
He was found not guilty of aggravated assault charges.
Police say the incident happened at Miller's home in the 300 block of Locust Street.
Doctors say the baby suffered internal injuries, including head trauma.
