Deadly crash kills 1 on Route 12

MUHLENBERG TWP., Pa. -

A Reading man is dead after a crash in Muhlenberg Township.

Police say David Ortiz, 21, was killed when he lost control and crashed into a guardrail on Route 12.

It happened around 11:00 last night.

Investigators say Ortiz was speeding and rainy conditions may have played a role in the crash.
