Students in Berks, Chester and Montgomery counties are being offered help in preparing for their future.

The TriCounty Area Chamber of Commerce will partner with high schools in southeastern Berks, western Montgomery and northern Chester counties to host its annual education and career fair.

The fair will take place on October 6 from 8:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at the Gilbertsville Fire Company, 1454 East Philadelphia Avenue in Douglass Township, Montgomery County.

More than 70 colleges, universities and other schools of higher education will be on hand to provide students with information.

New this year will be exhibits by chamber member businesses, who will provide information to students who plan to enter the workforce after graduation.

Human resources professionals will also be on hand to provide tips on preparing resumes.

Schools sending students to the fair include Boyertown Area High School, Pine Forge Academy and Pottstown High School.
