It was hip to be square at Daniel Boone High School Friday. Students participated in the school's annual holiday hoedown.
Juniors and seniors have been learning how to square-dance in gym class, and Friday they got to show off their skills.
A professional caller presided over the event, and the students sported their finest flannel and cowboy boots on the dance floor.
