A jackknifed tractor trailer creating traffic troubles around Reading for a good part of the day Tuesday.
The truck blocked both eastbound lanes of the West Shore Bypass -- Route 422 -- between the Lancaster Avenue interchange in southwest Reading and the Interstate 176 interchange in Cumru Twp., Berks Co., for nearly four hours.
The accident happened around 11:30 a.m. Tuesday on one of the bridges high above the Schuylkill River.
Fire police closed the eastbound bypass at Lancaster Avenue while crews worked to remove the truck and clean up a large amount of fuel that spilled. The highway reopened shortly after 3 p.m.
No one was injured.
