Lehigh Valley Health Network is working to keep Reading's youngsters safe.
The health network brought its "Safetytown" program to 16th and Haak Elementary School Friday morning.
The program takes the kids through a typical day to teach them about car and pedestrian safety and how to dial 911.
Officials said it's important to start teaching children at a young age how they can stay safe.
