Berks County home to new U.S. citizens
READING, Pa. -

Berks County is now home to some of the newest United States citizens.

The Berks County Bar Association hosted a naturalization ceremony Wednesday morning at the Berks County Courthouse.

Fifty one people completed the process of becoming a U.S. citizen.

They come from as far away as the Dominican Republic and West Africa.

They said the process of becoming a citizen took about four months.
