A Lebanon County woman became the second person to die in less than 24 hours in an accident on Route 419 in Berks County.

The accident, involving a van and a car, was reported shortly before 4 p.m. Tuesday at Route 419 and Reichert Road in Marion Township.

The driver of the car, identified as Dolores Kline, 57, of Myerstown, died at the scene; the van's driver was taken to a hospital, officials said.

The accident happened only about a mile from the scene of an accident that killed one person and injured three others Monday evening.

John Strunk, 33, of Spring Township, was killed Monday. Police on Tuesday could provide no information about the conditions of the other victims.
