READING, Pa. -

Authorities have arrested a suspected drug dealer and seized approximately seven pounds of marijuana.

Members of the Berks County District Attorney's Drug Task Force converged on a home in the 900 block of Locust Street in Reading early Thursday morning.

They said their execution of a search warrant there was the result of a five-month investigation brought about by complaints of marijuana trafficking.

During the investigation, officials said David Deida-Milete sold marijuana to undercover detectives on three separate occasions between April 27 and August 23.

Deida-Milete, 53, was charged with possession, possession with the intent to deliver and multiple counts of delivery of marijuana.

Their search of his home turned up approximately seven pound of marijuana, with an estimated street value of $16,870; 70 smaller packets of marijuana; two handguns and a rifle; and about $4,800 in cash, officials said.

They also seized three vehicles detectives said Deida-Milete used to sell his marijuana.
