CAERNARVON TWP., Pa. -

Firefighters in Berks County battled a three-alarm fire Thursday.

It broke out around 4:00 p.m. at the Morgan Corporation on Morgan Way in Caernarvon Township.

The smoke was so thick it could be seen from as far as 15 miles away.

Multiple explosions were heard at the building.

Everyone was evacuated safely, according to a company spokesman.

There are no reported injuries.

Firefighters were able to get the fire under control around 5:30 p.m.

Morgan Corporation makes truck bodies. A spokesperson for the company told 69 News the fire broke out in the paint department.

The cause of the fire is unknown.
